But, actually, the Montreal anarchist book fair is the longest running one in North America, I'm pretty sure, and it doesn't have a million drama because it's not run by shitheads!!!!111!!!!11!!

I actually heard about the event earlier, but I didn't realize until recently that my passport was out of order. I'm definitely planning on saving up money and going next year, though! They seem to have a lot of other events in the month as well.

Bookfair came and went - zero drama that I'm aware of. At the v. least, there was none in the kitchen.
There was a rumour that some anarcap creeps were going to show up to denounce the collective for refusing their application to table, but it never materialized. Alas, I think it would have probably been a good laugh.

lol should've told them the organisation rented the space and is, by contract, free to refuse and allow entry to whomever they please. :laugh:
