So Nawaz Shariff won the Pakistani elections eventhough I don't know anyone in Pakistan who supports him. People seemed to be in favor of candidate Imran Khan (PTI).

People are accusing him and his Party of rigging elections.

Does Sharif have the kind of organization and power behind his Muslim League to rig an election? I know he used to be PM and has the support of much of the country's business elite, but is it possible for him to rig the election on this scale? Considering his last time in office with the neoliberal mess as I understood it, I'm surprised that many voted for him. Then again Berlusconi has also made several comebacks.

This is an honest question, I'm not much familiar with the Pakistani political scene. It seems to've been a choice for the corrupt PPP, populist banter from Imran Khan, or "normalcy" of Sharif.

Yeah, I know he's rich, I'm just saying if he's got the network on the ground to do it. Unless he's been building that up in the past year.

Building a networks quite easy with that kind of money.
