Hey everyone, I'm a college student from Los Angeles interested in all forms of Marxism and in need of more knowledge on Anarchist philosophies. I've considered myself a Trotskyist for some time, but am completely open to considering different types of Socialist thought.

Lately I have been extremely interested in researching historical and modern Marxist political organizations in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, so hopefully I can find some good discussions on those topics here.

In general, I feel that I rarely get the chance to openly discuss the future of socialism with like-minded individuals. Instead I just get blank stares and brainwashed opinions regurgitated back at me on a day to day basis. So I'm pretty thankful I found this forum. Umm I also hope to find some quality organizations around the LA area, so let me know if you know of any.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Don't get too excited, this place is basically, like, a rung above @news comment threads.

Really though, welcome.

If you are interested in all forms of Marxism and in need of more knowledge on Anarchist philosophies, you may be interested in Impossibilism (and Deleonism) although the Middle East, North Africa and Asia (except India) are regions where Impossibilism hasn't existed.

Feel free to message me.
