I wanted to bring about the kind of crap that is forced and ramed down our throats.I'm talking about windows xp, and other capitialist crap they try to feed us. i cannot even watch t.v. with out getting sick of the crap that they feed us. take for example temptation island what kind of staged crap is that. the present state of t.v and most media outlets spit out right wing crap that to most brain washed peoples seems to be the truth. god this makes me sick how people can let crap like this go on. even the new windows xp, on how people get sucked into the propaganda of this put together, overpriced full of holes operating system. most people do not realize that that they are the idots that mr gates uses to find all of his holes in his operating system. mean while most brain washed people pay this pig big $$$ to buy this crap. comrades we need to help change this way of thinking through educating the brain washed people and bring them around to the truth that they are being taken in and told lies.

i havnt had a tv in my house since september,
a) because we moved house and still everything isnt sorted
B) becasue no one needs the tv in our house at the moment

the only time i will need the tv is to record educational programs from the bbc bitesize, which is for revision off the school sylabus.

I agree with Che Amigo,regarding gameshows these days.I've never been into these programs,but I have noticed that nowadays they all seem concerned with stabbing as many ppl in the back as possible,to win.Is this a case of getting what we want to watch,or getting what we're given?I don't know,but I think it isn't a good example for ppl today,to get the impression that to get on they must walk over everyone else.

Main reason capitalist propaganda and overall PR works so well in the US: freedom of speach,or the illusion of it.
With that in mind most people in america take it for granted that everything in the news and commercials is true and dont question it because we think its ture due to freedom of speach.
While in the old Soviet Union they didnt have freedom of speach and the public didnt believe in anything the goverment said because they knew it was bs.
That and our biased pathetic excuse for a education system, something i nickenamed "Brainwashing Academy of the New World Order"

I don't watch much T.V. - I agree it is very addicting and most of it is crap.

"Kill Your Television" - I read this on a bumber sticker once and was quite fond of that quote.

But what does TV have to do with Capitalism?

If anything - T.V. is controlled by the left wing.

Hollywood is full of left wing actors and movie directors. The media is full of left wing journalist (Dan Rather, Geraldo, etc.). CNN which is owned by Ted Turner (a very close friend of Castro and exhusband of Jane Fonda).

Don't blame the right wing for mindless TV Brainwashing.

The left wing definitely controls American Television and Movies.

Considering that most tabloid newspapers inflate the real numbers of imigrants and say they're taking all the taxes (it's true ask an idiot from year 11 and they tell you taxes are only used to pay immigrants) which is a distictive right wing idea.

And look at films coming out of Holywood crediting British bravery on Americans. And the ones portraying the Americans as the ultimate good and the enemy as the ultimate evil when really they're boths shades of grey. Annother right-wing idea.

And why is the media telling people to do there "Patriotic" (right-wing) duty by waving flags?

propoganda is not just the obvious things. The most useful propoganda is patriotism. The US government feed the population such utter bollox that they are teh best Country on earth etc. They tell them how good they are so much that when other countries try to question US policy the people are blinded. They have been conditioned to think only of internal rights. Only to think of what happens inside America, it is ok to argue about internal government policies, but in forign policy, it is no longer party vs party, it is country vs country. And when this happens the people side with teh country unconditionally, they do not believe their government can do any wrong.

I believe one of the famous quotes after the Beirut terrorist attack on a US army base which killed about 200+ american troops was:

"I don't know why those troops were there, but they must have been there for a good reason and so I am completely behind them"

When the average citizen has this sort of attitude control is not hard. Freedom of speech, the much advocated pinnicle of democracy is only true for that of the majority, and the majority are those that have been conditioned by the government. It is ingenious.

I often compare the US to NAZI Germany, especially Bush to Hitler. When Bush spoke to the house of representatives right after sept 11th, the crowd cheered after every sentance. The most sickening thing is that sometimes he didnt even say anything relating to anything. "Ill just clea this up" pause... CHEER.

The people cowar behind bush and hope that he will sort things out. I was chilled to the bone. I am not teh best at typing things in a very structured way so ill just shut up now :)

The left does not control the TV industry.The television CORPORATIONS do.The news CORPORATIONS do.
I don't know of many leftist corpoations. That doesn't even make sense.
While the actors and directors may be left they are hardly communist, as show by their $$$ salaries and flash chatels.To them being left is like yoga and zen, trendy games for the rich to play at. All the while missing the point.

I've never seen people talking so much,yet saying so little.I get british and american news,flick between them and you'd think they were from two different planets,and the BBC is hardly left-wing.

There is no doubt in my mind that Dan Rather is sympathetic to communists - especially after his "buddy chummy" interview with Fidel Castro in 1996.

Geraldo Riveria - Left Sided Communist (but then again he is very open about his left sidedness unlike Dan Rather).

I like Bill O'Reilley (Moderate American Journalist) for Fox News - He kicks major radical ass! I wonder if you English Europeans get Bill O'Reilley. That guy knows how to report on corruption (especially American Corruption on all levels).

What about Rush Limbaugh (Far-Right American Journalist)? Do you communists ever listen to him? His wife is of Cuban background. I like Rush too - except he made a remark about President Clinton's daughter that I found distasteful and unfair - and sometimes he will make remarks that I don't necessarily agree with, but for the most part - he tends to be right and right on almost everything.
