A forum dedicated almost entirely to mens shaving (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/forum.php) has more traffic than us!

As a bearded American I find the existence of this site highly offensive.

How can the topic of shaving, hold on, I'm laughing too hard to type....how can the topic of shaving manufacture more discussion than communism? Is this site here the biggest communist site on the internet? If this is any sort of indication of...well...ah never mind. Maybe RevLeft should open up it's doors to liberals, utopian socialists, Maoist's of all stripes and primitivists? It would be a hell hole of debate. Maybe that would be a good thing? A few thousand more posters maybe? How many people have been banned from RevLeft? Every time I look at any of the older threads it seems every other poster is banned. Does that have something to do with it?

I love that forum! D: It's what got me into wetshaving in the first place.
Crixus, sometimes shaving is more interesting than what a couple of dead Germans had to say. And yes, we're thoroughly irrelevant, and letting liberals in sounds like a death knell to a leftist forum.

It's recession related. Old-fashioned shaving implements can save you a considerable amount of money after the initial investment. A shaving forum gets more traffic than revleft because, as we all know, workers don't turn to the left during times of economic crisis any more.

Whats wet shaving? I've always used a mixture of water and cream with a razor. I thought that was just shaving? I think this shaving site is anti communist. Marx and Engels would have supported the overgrow, I mean, overthrow of shaving as bourgeois decadence.

There's a reason they put the mach3 razors behind lock and key at the supermarket. Communism. A bunch of bearded men looting convenient stores of all their shaving supplies. That's the sort of revolution I can support.

*shrugs* There are more shavers than there are socialists; kind of inevitable given that at least half the world's population has the capacity to grow facial hair of some kind and the desire to groom it comes more naturally than the desire emacipate the working class...
I'll prob have a look at this site later, my beard is uggo at the moment.

I think wet shaving is just shaving in the shower.
I should take a closer look at that site. Maybe I'll join.

Am I the only one that read the title of this thread in their head, in the voice Professor Farnsworth (from Futurama)?

Shaving is something as a subject that regards all men, regardless of their political or intellectual orientation. Of course it is more popular.

After searching on google for about 5 seconds, I have come to the conclusion that there are no forums dedicated to women's shaving. Absolutely ridiculous.
