Anyone else watching? American football is pretty much the only sport I watch, the draft for me is like the highlight of the football year cause my team usually sucks and never makes the playoffs.

Definitely going to be watching. Well between that and the Heat game. Interested in seeing if Mike Tomlin can make a decent draft choice.

I dont follow college ball at all, so I have absolutely no interest in the draft. Usually just check in reports after to see how everyone did.

I'm a die hard Miami Dolphins fan, not entirely sure why since I'm from Canada (the CFL is awful though). I think it might in part have to do with the fact I used to love the movie Ace Ventura and it had Dan Marino in it. I'm really hoping they draft Tavon Austin. After almost a decade of watching them suck, things are finally looking up.

I wonder how much more they can possibly analyze the draft on espn...

Funny, I'm from Miami but grew up a Steelers fan. I'm a Miami fan everywhere else (even a Marlins fan unfortunately) but I do root for the Phins when they aren't playing my Steelers. I think their trade up to 3rd was great. They need to get help on offense now though for Ryan. Poor guy has no one to throw to...well besides Wallace now, but he's there to catch bombs, he's not a great route-runner by any stretch of the imagination.

I watched parts of it, but mainly just to see who the Eagles (my favorite team) chose. They chose an offensive lineman in the first round, which I think was a good choice considering that their o-line last year was probably the worst in the league.

I was really hoping they went with Austin, but was also stoked to see Jeff Ireland make a gutsy move for once. When he moved up to third all I could think of was 'fuck he's taking Lane Johnson' since he has a history of taking linemen high in the draft (Long, Pouncey, etc..) but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know much about Jordon, but since watching his tape and hearing the comparisons to Jason Taylor I am excited. I wouldn't worry too much about Tannehill not having anyone to throw to, yet..rumor has it they want to use the 2nd round pick on his former college teammate Ryan Swope. In other news I got a crush on Tannehill's wife.
Its funny your a steelers fan though, since one of my best friends growing up was a huge steelers fan and we were the only two kids who followed NFL, not CFL. I bugged him hard once we signed Jerry Porter.
Overall I'm just glad that the Jets draft sucked.

It was a great choice, as much as I didn't want to see my phins draft Johnson, he's going to make a great tackle.

Already expected that, after all, they're the Jets  Seriously, the same team that signed Sanchez long term when everyone else was wondering when they'd drop him. As a Dolphan, you have to be happy knowing that as long as Sanchez is at the helm, that the Phins got a chance lol.

Their O-Line was a travesty. With Chip Kelly coming in, a good O-Line is a MUST to protect Vick (who already is injury prone)

Well they did draft Geno Smith, I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the starting job. In all honesty though, I'm not sure if he'll pan out or not. I think every phin fan wants to see Sanchez starting for the next 10+ years.

49er fan here. Our defense just got unstoppable with the addition of Eric Reid (s), Tank Carradine (de) and Asomugha (cb) from the Eagles. Got another TE on offense. We got Bolden (wr) from the Ravens as well. All of this should be illegal. Superbowl ring next season.

I thought Geno won the starting job by virtue of being drafted. I can't fathom a reality in which Sanchez keeps his starting job, especially when you got Geno Smith (at great value by the way) on the roster...but then again I couldn't fathom a reality in which Sanchez got a contract extension and stayed a starting QB for more than 2 years.

49ers are not in any way playing around. They REALLY want to win a ring. I like the 49ers, they were my NFC underdog team in years past (back with Alex Smith)...then they got really good, and it's put me in a weird spot. They're my favorite NFC team, BUT, if they win the championship, they tie my Steelers for most Lombardis...as you can imagine, this past super bowl was a lose/lose. Either the 49ers tied the Steelers...or the Dirty Ratbirds won.
