I want to know more about the PFLP (I hope my questions aren't ignorant or have already been answered). I love listening to PFLP music videos though those are so awesome.

-Is the PFLP still active?

-Is it similiar in end goals with the Palestinian Liberation Organization?

-Are they Muslim Extremists? (I've heard there are christian Arabs in it too but I don't know)

-Are they Marxist-Leninist?

I'd appreciate if someone could enlighten me on this topic.

- yes

- they are officially part OF the PLO (biggest faction after Fatah) but last I heard they still suspended their participation over the Oslo accords..

- no, they are secular but their armed wing sees no bone in working joint operations wits Hamas and jihadist groups, after the assisination of the extreme right Israeli minister of tourism and the capture of much of their leadership they lost lots of influence.

- yes but they are a (ethnic) national liberation organization first and foremost.

They are part of the PLO but they are very much their own autonomous organization and I think are the most legitimate fighting group in Palestine. When Fatah and Hamas broke out in war against each other, PFLP took no sides because they knew the war did nothing for the Palestinian struggle and they continued their advocacy of unity.
