Do you think Communism and/or Socialism is the government of the future?

The capitalist system just can not last forever, and I do not know where else we can go.

I think so. At some point I think capitalism will make a fatal mistake. Maybe it will be via climate change, not-so-covert corruptness, pure socialist agitation of the masses, or some other mechanism that will wake people up, I do not though. I do hope I get to experience it within my lifetime though and I hope that it can become a glob movement quickly.

I hope that in the future, after the revolution, we won't need to have a government as we understand it now, that is a hierarchal structure that enforces social conditions and laws upon the populace. Communism aims to create a society where a state is not needed due to the nonexistence of social classes.

Personally, I believe that capitalism would evolve into socialism and finally into a communist world. Of course there needs to be a plan devised or a prediction of somewhat. But ask yourself, isn't capitalism settling down since the Industrial Revolution? Workers have more rights and luxuries more than ever. Capitalism is slowly dying anyway. It would then break down into the better economic system of Socialism as Capitalism as it currently stands has too many flaws.
