hi, i'm meg. i thought i'd just made 3 posts, but i'm being notified above that i haven't! i suppose i have to introduce myself first. i reside in new york city and i'm a leftist, though i have a hard time defining myself vis-a-vis any particular school of thought. generally i follow a marxist line, but i enjoy post- and neo-marxism as well, and try to incorporate whatever seems relevant. i do think that community organization - with an internationalist spirit - is critical in overcoming capitalism, so this is what i try to do, along with the usual protests, politicking and philosophizing on facebook, twitter etc (the NSA be damned!). amongst other things i'm a sex-positive feminist, an art-lover, and a library science/archival studies student and full-time slave to the man.
