I come from a Jewish and Catholic background. And I was told that the church my childhood friend was a part of was in support of Reagan. He was the only one who tried to recruit me. So I wasn't allowed to go to sunday school as a kid. I think much of religion is actually solved by science. I also believe science and religion are complementary.
Pagans are annoying to me. Reminds me of my hippy surroundings as a kid.
I do believe in interconnectedness through "energy" as hippy as that sounds. But I believe this is as much mystical as scientific. And In my opinion Einstein cracked it: The connection between matter and energy. Matter from energy, energy from matter. Truly mind blowing.

I didn't notice that. I came out as old-fashioned seeker, although I've found. I've found a God loving communism and hating organized religions. :)

Seems like I'm a Spiritual Dabbler, according to that. Some of those questions were really oddly phrased though. I identify as an atheist, however I'm not an anti-theist so that may have factored in.

I got "spiritual dabbler". I, too, nominally identify as an "atheist" or otherwise non-religious for simplicity's sake, but I suppose some form of agnostic would be a better label. I'm also not an antitheist/"New Atheist" dip shit.

It is difficult for me to answer exactly "which religion" I am. Firstly, because to me the word "religion" is all too much associated with dogmas and rigid hierarchies. I do, however, have some very strong core spiritual notions - in my case these spiritual notions are drawn from many different spiritual systems and religions. I am most comfortable simply describing myself as a "mystic" since I believe various tenets from several religions, and in my own mind they absolutely form a coherent "system", but as far as I know there is nothing which could easily describe it. I suppose if I had to pick descriptor words I would go with "Hermetic" or "Gnostic", though the eclectic variety of traditions my spiritual tendencies draw from is more a kin to Freemasonry.
On the test Poimandres linked to I came out "Questioning Believer".

I'm an atheist who despises all forms of religion, so I guess that makes me an antitheist. I used to be Christian, then I was into the occult for a few years, then reason slowly replaced faith.

Based on my dislike of bacon, the test told me, "Be a Muslim," but, with respect, I doubt that I would be very happy in a faith with an annual month of fasting. So I think that the stance of an unaligned Protestant is still for me. Given the fact that this is *rev**left*, it is interesting that there is any discussion of religion available at all. It feels like something very close to tolerance, which is nice.
Now I think I will take the beliefnet quiz, to see what the outcome of that is.

For the belief net quiz I go 'spiritual dabbler' rather than hardcore skeptic. I have no idea how that happened, because I am one of those nasty 'new atheists' who thinks religion should be subject to the same critical analysis that every other set of ideas is, especially those which reinforce the domination of some people over others. I can't stand the sexists within the atheist movement though and would like to be part of a skeptic's movement that did not include them.

How many gods do I want to worship? A ton of them. Following the chart through to the end, apparently I'm a Hindu.
But I'm not a Hindu. If the first question had asked me how many gods I actually worship, I'd have ended on atheist.
I am an atheist, but I wouldn't consider atheism a religion (which isn't to say that there are no atheists who treat atheism with dogmatic/fundamentalist/religious attitudes). I'd say I'm non-religious.

I used to be really catholic and I hated muslims with a passion. Then I realized you can't just judge people on things they can't control (most people are born into the religion and many have religious parents who forced it down their throat). But now i'm an atheist as I don't see anything to religion.

spiritual dabbler, apparently.
i'm interested in the idea of using spirituality intentionally as a personal psychological health tool- allowing yourself some sense of mysticism when you need it seems to contribute to resilience. i also think we're wired for that kind of abstraction, so why not indulge it occasionally? having a sense of cosmic wonder is one of the most enjoyable experiences i know of.

Apparently, I am a "Hardcore Skeptic" - which is amusing, since I am no more skeptical about whether gods exist or the afterlife than I am skeptical about the Smurfs or what happens to glasses that fall and break. Also, I scored 26 on a scale of 25 to 100. Welp. Time for fasting, ritual reading of "Materialism and Empirio-Criticism" and self-flagellation for that one point.

I consider myself a humanist, which means I value the human spirit more than any ideology (including political ones) or culture.
That BeliefNet quiz is really strange...it only barely mentions the most important aspect of religion, which is community. It called me an 'active spiritual seeker', which is understandable given that I meditate and choose to associate with a church.

I don't have a religion. I don't know if god is real or not and I really don't care. I used to be a Catholic, then I was a hardcore anti-theist, but then I realized how obnoxious those jerks were. I can't stand the people who are constantly shitting on religion like it is the worst thing in the world, because some people actually use their religion for good :) Plus the new atheist douchebags are total dudebros. I tried taking the beliefnet quiz but I got bored and stopped.

It is inaccurate. One can of wonder how accurate it is if you want to determine someones religion by stereotypes in the first place.

Many protestant fundamentalists believe the Catholic church is heretical, a Pagan imitation of Christianity, some even go as far as equating the Papacy with the Beast of the Apocalypse. Fundamentalists believe themselves to be practicing the original Pauline form of Christianity which Catholicism supposedly distorted. There are countless anti-Catholic sites online by fundies, and they're all pretty much along the same lines:
http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Roman%20Catholicism/catholic_church_is_a_big_hoax.htm
To pray or even bow to any statue, image or crucifix is wicked sin. Jesus NEVER even once asked anyone to create an image of Him dying on a cross. The Catholic Church is infested with idols, crucifixes and superstitions. It is wicked to pray or even BOW to "Mother Mary." Pope John Paul II is committing idolatry in the image to the left. Mary is NOT my mother, and she's NOT your mother either. Mary is NOT the "Queen of Heaven." Mary is NOT the mother of the church. Mary was just a godly woman chosen by God the Father to be the earthly mother of Jesus Christ, God incarnate. In heaven, Mary is no more special than any other godly woman who fears and loves God. It is wicked to teach that Mary was anything more than a godly woman.
John the Baptist was called the greatest man born amongst men (Mathew 11:11), yet Jesus said that he that is LEAST in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John. The same is true with Mary or anyone else. If it were not for God's merciful grace, we would all be hopelessly bound for hell damnation (and that includes Mary).
