A couple of questions:
1 - Fascism is considered the mother of all evils by many leftists, far worse than "regular" capitalism. What's your opinion on that?

2 - Many thus support the popular front strategy to prevent fascists/ extreme nationalists from winning elections , like in Spain. Do you agree?

Do you have any other proposals / opinions?

Thanks in advance comrades.

edit: in spain, the members of the PF failed to cooperate effectively and that was one of the reasons of the military defeat. Do you know any other circumstances of PFs that a similar thing happened?

PF was never a good idea and history shows it on plenty of occasions.

I wouldn't consider fascism the "mother of all evil", it is more of an evil child of capitalism. The waste product of failed capitalism and an extreme measure of solving capitalist crisis through extreme reactionary violence.

Popular front against fascism is a good concept in theory. When the threat of rising fascism appears, uniting communists, anarchists, social democrats, left liberals etc., would be a smarter move than said groups continuing to fight each other instead.

Unfortunately, the PF wasn't very succesful in real life examples. I can think of Chile as another example similar to Spain. A PF under the leadership of democratically elected president Salvador Allende was ovethrown by us-sponsored fascist Augusto Pinochet and his troops in 1973.

And the french PF got crushed by the nazis.
Was any instance of it successful?

In modern day society, a "popular front" would just be one of the centre left/right parties. The popular fronts in Spain and France were not as you describe them anti-fascist movements anyway.

Pardon me, but where is there any real fascism? This is not 1938.

Also, please do not push that "fascism is the child of capitalism" line. That shit is so old and out of date and obviously wrong it's embarrassing.
