the southern ground hornbill is a hell of a bird

when i was a teenager i made myself drink black coffee to seem tough and manly but now i fill it with milk and sugar and am secure in my frailties

i want to long-distance backpack everywhere. uh, maybe the pacific crest or continental divide trails in the us. i'm not creative enough to think outside this country.

My icon is a sigil of baphomet :-) it's the second most satanic.symbol and I use it to show that I'm anti Christian. I however am not a satanist, but a pagan. I am also very thin :-)

There are a lot of interesting and pretty birds, but I don't really have a favourite.

I don't drink coffee because I don't like the taste and caffeine makes me anxious.

I'd like to travel around the rest of Europe I suppose, maybe practise my French and attempt a bit of German and Spanish. I don't really think much about fancy holidays though. I'd be happy camping somewhere pretty in the English countryside (provided the weather wasn't too shitty).

I like mice, rats, guinea pigs, etc. as far as pets go. Small animals I suppose. It's cute watching them run around on the floor or when they run up your arms. I don't have any pets though.

I'm also a vegetarian, a vegan in fact. I just like animals and I don't like the idea of them suffering unnecessarily.

Bird

I'm really not fond of birds, at all.. But I guess parrots can be amusing.

Coffee

Black coffee is best, but since it's always too hot I tend to use cream/milk. The peoples of the nordic countries are amongst the largest consumers of coffee in the world, and I'm pretty extreme even by our standards - especially when working. 10 cups a day isn't even a lot for me.

Travel

I'd like to see Istanbul, above all places on earth - and especially the land walls of that city, which held against every invading army for over 1000 years, literally throughout the entire medieval period. Noone managed to conquer them, before guns were invented and Mehmed II's Ottoman troops blasted a hole in them.

Pet

I'd like to have a dog, or failing that a cat, but as explained in the pet thread it's not possible for me to have pets due to my work (being away too much).

Vegetarianism

I'm not a vegetarian. Although I for sure enjoy some vegetarian dishes, I try to uphold a low carb diet and that involves mostly animal products.

Bird:

Robins. Love it when you manage to see one up close, very pretty.

Coffee:

Black, two sugars.

Vacation / holiday:

I'm not big on trips at home or abroad, I'll just go to Butlins when my kids are older.

Pet:

Like dogs up to a point but don't intend to ever have one, find the concept of pet ownership a bit odd.

Vegetarianism:

Wish I could do it but I enjoy meat and don't care enough to try and not eat it.

My random question:
Anyone seen Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror TV shows? What did ya think?

You have kids? I have a 3 year old. It can make attending meetings and things more difficult, but I manage.

I like what I've seen of Black Mirror.

Does the government if the USA spy on revleft?

Favourite ice cream - chocolate, of course. I bought some expensive chocolate ice cream made out of cashews a while ago as a treat and it was ridiculously nice. Don't think I will be able to justify buying it again though :(

I don't think there are any famous people on revleft, but then again, personal information isn't allowed so for all we know there could be someone famous who posts. For all you know, I could be Justin Bieber pretending to be a 22 year old woman.
