Tips, thoughts, and suggestions on promoting and growing a new club.

A facebook friend of the Socialist Alternative have started forming an Socialist Alternative branch in my county alone. As of now it's just two of us, but we want it to grow.

Any tips or thoughts on recruitment and projects to get us from a two man club to more members?

Set a regular time for public meetings and stick to it.

Spread the word, make noise, stir some shit. Make your presence felt by any means, post on the internet, hold meetings and organize yourselves. If you have any friends that are starting to lean left give em a little push.

Make it fun. It's way easier to get people into it if there is a social/communal or festive feeling to the events.
