A family searches from grave to grave for an identifying piece of clothing of a missing loved one, at a mass grave site in the Iraqi town of Hilla, in this June 8, 2003 file photo. Human rights groups and international jurists fear that the Iraqi judiciary, after four decades under the thumb of the Baath regime, has neither the experience nor the expertise to conduct a complex trial such as Saddam Hussein's. They say only a U.N.-led tribunal has international legitimacy and can gurantee fair trial.

That's a good quote from Plato. It is true, sad, but true. Unfortunatly the living are zombies brainwashed by their government.

I agree with this very much figuring that if Saddam Hussein's trial was to be conducted by a Iraqi tribunal, that Hussein may receive undeserved sympathy, and under a U.S. tribunal, Hussein may not receive a fair trial, which I believe anyone deserves.
A U.N. trial would be more just and fair, and would be conducted by countries not contributing to the war against Iraq.

Saddam will most likely not make it to a trial. He will either commit suicide, Nuremberg style, be gunned down Lee Harvey Oswall style or he we 'try and escape' and be gunned down Shawshank Redemption style.

Either way, if the poor bastard does make it to a trial, he will either get away with it easily and be hated by the capitalist world for what last years this old man has or he will get it worse then he deserves and get horrible back lash from the anti-bush/anti-american which might drive for action that will result in more bloodshed.

The chances Mr. Hussein gets a fair trial, and a fair punishement are slim as hell. I say there better odds that Che rises from the dead then this guy getting a fair trial  :P .
