I am wonderng how many of you have actually studied political systems and come to the conclusion Communism is best, and how many just like to be anti-american, anti-capitalist, etc.

I am a socialist because I have seen capitalism destroy so many people. It's the only logical answer... and...I'm convinced that we are better off red than dead.

i haven't studied politics formally at a school although i had extensive exposure to politics through my history degree,.

having said that, thanx to a good friend of mine, i started reading books on politics and have subsequently decided that socialism is the best. my experience and studies at law school have confirmed this belief.

Isnt socialism much more tolerant to capitalism than communism is to capitalism?

hmm lets see, why am i red? well to tell you the truth sometimes i dont know why i bother... Let me explain, you see i would either be red or just forget politics altogether. And wouldnt that be giving up my RIGHT to have a say over the power that governs me? i mean if i feel that things are wrong things need changing then i should be politicaly active and i shall. Now i know thats not the question you asked but thats why im red, i would never be right wing because there is no reason on earth to be right wing unless you have a big bisness and need some of you home boys in goverment.


Left is about poeple, left is about values, left is about the things that pull us together rather than our differences, and its alot of other things too so stay tuned.

i like the color red for many reasons;

1. (could be considered fanatical) (i say radical)
it represents the color of "blood" and word speaks that it was the spilling of Jesus blood that set humanity free.

2. red & the revolution; which focuses on "power" even che & hilda realized that the sucess of a revolution was "power".

i am in agreement with some of the ideas of communism and socialism like che but i also believe in a bigger "vision" so i cant say that i am for either one, not because im fear reprocussions or whatever "negative connetations" associate with the words, for if that was the case i would not be here, or anywhere for that matter.

i am also not completely studied in either socialism or communism, there is just so much to learn i am impressed with everyones knowledge. but because i am from america i am well aware of the capitalist beast and of course i am not in agreement with that.

so i've became antiamerican after they started bombing Belgrade...i didn't love them before,but since than moment i've hated USA...
