View Full Version : Help with The Chinese Communist Party During the Sino-Pacific War

Greetings Comrades!

I'm writing a 25 page term paper on the Chinese Communist Party during the Sino-Pacific war. I want to focus it on why, both practically and ideologically they got into power. So far I have a lot of books on Mao with various and often contradictory viewpoints. I have: Red Star Over China which mostly portays a great love for Mao and the Chinese Communist Party, A critical introduction to Mao by Timothy Cheek which seems to be a more balanced approach, the Unknown Story: Mao by Jung Change (who really hates Mao). I also looked at some of Mao's own writing from Marxists.org. My class in on the Sino-Pacific war in general so I know the history of Japanese imperialism. However, I'm grabbed some books on the rise of the Chinese Communist Party itself and can't seem to find any reviews. So far I have:
