Do you personally believe that Mr. Assad is utilizing chemical weapons in Syria?

All the credible sources are blaming the insurgency actually, though probably there was no chemical attack at all; there was a similar scare in like December in Homs and it was eventually concluded that there was no chemical attack at all, iirc. But this is the Aleppo countryside, a bastion of the salafist insurgency, no? Though it's not like the insurgents would shy from killing their own people, the martyrs will go straight to paradise and entertain themselves with virgins, I suppose.

Rebel propagandists have a long history of alarmist accusations like this to keep Syrian (and most importantly, western) public opinion on their side. I don't know, but probably not.

Well witnesses were saying that the chemicals were delivered from scuds or katayusha rockets or something of that nature. I was under the assumption the Insurgents did not have the ability to launch a sophisticated chemical strike?

I'll believe it when I see it. I've heard this time and time again. "SYRIA THREATENED THE USE OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS!"....when in fact they didn't - Thank you Daily Mail.
Nothing about the US using them on a quite regular basis in Iraq but anyway back to Assad. This entire conflict could have been avoided if he just let people hit the ballot box and change the system. This man (and many of his enemies) are mass murderers, bombing hospitals and Bread factories. Im not sure if I even want the rebels to win the way they've behaved lately. I dont know what to think of this war other than the fact that it is an absolutely horrible affront to human dignity.
To quote George Carlin: "Thats right folks its all bullshit and its bad for ya".

Your exactly right Pastradamus. I'm neutral in this conflict. I could care less. Although sometimes when debating with Libs or conservaturds i'll play devils advocate for one side or the other. I do agree that both sides are definitely no saints...

A chemical strike would guarantee a NATO intervention that would topple the regime. All that to kill ~30 people in a rural area? Probably not.

I heard it was a guerrilla group associated with al quaeda. I saw a leaked report from the pentagon saying it was sent by american authorities. I'm completely lost in this political madness.
