Hello everyone, I'm a Marxist in my mid 20's living in central Florida, USA. It wasn't till a few months ago that I actually read some of Karl Marx's work, even though I knew about him (or at least thought I knew) since high school. I started with The Communist Manifesto, and I was pretty amazed by how well Marx and Engels described capitalism. Even though it was written over a hundred years ago, it is still very accurate with what is going on today in the world. Last year I decided to register as an Independent voter because I didn't want to be represented as a Democrat anymore. I feel that every four years is another "Coke and Pepsi Election," well what if I wan't Root Beer? I'm ready to move on from capitalism, people deserve better.
