Hello everyone, I've been lurking for about 2-3 months and decided to join finally. I have been in a transition since the 08 crisis to the point of being a socialist. I went from ignorant capitalist supporter, to a moralist, to a radical liberal and to finally being a socialist I suppose. I am still learning, but in a way i feel as though this was the inevitable conclusion sort of like fate. I'm reading Capital volume 1 for the first time its really tough but I plan on rereading it alot , but before capital I read alot of marx earlier writing and read some about bakunin and kropotkin, what struck me as strange was how my beliefs kind of mirror those of marx, (not saying Im marx 2.0 or nothing) sort of how his views transitioned and his disdain for hegels abstract thought led him to materalist philosophy and the same happend to me somewhat. This is just a short introduction, I dont plan on posting that much mostly learning, but as I learn more I will post more. Thanks.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

That you're reading Capital already is good. The start may be daunting, but the rest is easy to follow. Remember that it was written with the masses as audience in mind!
