Does this article ring true? Is there a myth to the capitalist notion of efficiency? It always seemed odd to me that they would hammer on about this but it leads to no greater thing in the end.

Is there even a debate about this among marxists?

Subjectivist economics. I thought Richard Wolff was a marxist?

Efficiency is an objective notion. When the amout of labour required to produce, or cost of producing, a particular use value decreases, efficiency has increased.
