The propaganda that the union's site has been replaced with says it all:
"OURWalmart.org is no longer in service.
The union-backed organization which sponsored this domain is not affiliated with Walmart or Sam's Club and does not represent the company nor its associates.
For factual information about Walmart, including its outstanding career opportunities, visit www.walmartstores.com (http://www.walmartstores.com)"
Outstanding career opportunities as a minimum wage worker in that hellhole?! Are you fucking kidding me?

Probably bribed a judge and told him that he could use the excuse of copyright infringement or somesuch to make it believable.

That's so fucking lame, especially since that website contained a ton of information on Wal-mart's oppressive and discriminatory business practices.

It's been that way for at least a few months now, I remember seeing that a while back being a little confused/disappointed. Anyway here's their new website: http://forrespect.org/

Outstanding career opportunities as a minimum wage worker in that hellhole?! Are you fucking kidding me?To be fair about that specific part, that's what every company says. Working at Burger King isn't a career but that didn't stop them from setting up bkcareers.
That's shitty. I wonder what legal basis they had to seize the website.

While trying to whitewash its own image, Wal-Mart ends up tainting Huffington Post's reputation instead xD
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/erik-wemple/wp/2013/03/22/huffington-post-deletes-anti-wal-mart-comments/
"Talk to me when your workforce can afford to buy food, instead of having to apply for food stamps."
"pay your employees a living wage, offer health insurance and don't ask for a corporate tax deduction for doing the right thing. Then and only then will the world believe you are serious otherwise this is just another Walmart publicity stunt that no one is buying."
They originally came in response to an interview with an outgoing executive of Wal-Mart. The Wal-Mart executive answered those questions in the manner of an executive, saying pretty much that Wal-Mart is a great corporate citizen.
Roundabout 5:15 p.m. the Blog saw nearly 100 comments on this example of news tipping into the realm of PR.
This morning? One: “Walmart is a great company which gave over 2 million jobs to Americans and they provide products at very low prices for everyone to enjoy.”
a spokesman for Huffington Post had this to say about the comment-scrubbing: "Our moderators removed some comments manually but appear to have gone too far, so we’re putting them back up."
