News just in from Twitter and outside the courts.
Alfie Meadows and Zak King have been found not guilty of Violent Disorder by unanimous verdict. This is the third trial now, after what happened on the student demonstrations in 2010. You will all remember Alfie as having his head split open (image may be distressing so TW and I've spoiled it) and now has brain damage because of the incident.
Yet still no justice for them after the abuse they have dealt with and the trials dragging on for three years. We should, however, still see this as a victory. The right of protest must be defended.
