if i have family in the DC area, is there any reason at all that i should be worried? or is this whole "nuclear war on monday" thing just blustering by pyongyang and sensationalism by the media? i honestly have no idea if they have the desire or capability to launch as i've been hearing, but i figured it'd be a good idea to find out just in case.

Don't worry about the North Koreans. They are not that crazy to launch a nuke. Plus your going to DC. They don't have any weapons to hit the east coast.

I live in the west coast, but I don't think the North has any ICBM that can reach the west coast yet.

I really doubt a North Korean nuke could reach the eastern coast of North America. Besides, even if it could I doubt they would even launch. I'm sure they know very well what the consequences of that would be and I really don't think they're suicidal like that.

Who's going to buy all that sub-contracted for the export market Made in China crap? The US is a bigger consumer market than North Korea and the Chinese, despite their rhetoric, are capitalists.

If you are worried, hide in the Everglades or Fort Myers. There's nothing of much strategic importance for nuclear warheads. Also, its warm, sunny, etc
