New Marxist here

I am an eighteen years old Marxist and Communist (is there any point in stating both?) from Norway. My username derives from a movement that has drawn me to the left politically from a young age and has motivated me to get involved in politics (in RL) today.

No but seriously: I can see why there would be a big emotional gap there. I only started recognising myself as a communist (which had strong negative connotations for me in the past) much later than I saw myself as a Marxist.

Thanks Q! Anyway, I have gotten rid of the negative ties to the word Communism in my mind already, and am in fact proud of calling myself a Communist. I can see why people would have problems in the begining though.
