What are their demands?
Are they good or bad? (Not from a communist standard)
Will they succeed if so will this make life better for the people there?
Should i believe the news about Maoists posted on mainstream media,if not where can i get news about them

Take a look at these three documents:

The Maoist groups in facebook usually have a high attendance from India, so you can check those for updates. Also, there are some progressive websites like http://sanhati.com that provide good analysis.

Essentially what Ind.com said, though to condense it: they are fighting to establish a union of popular republics which follows Mao's theory of New Democracy; this is to say a building up of industry under socialist lines which will eventually transition into socialism. I would highly reccomend reading those documents, however.
