I am new to the site and, as suggested by the extremely helpful site staff, I would like to introduce myself. I am a physicist in my twenties, currently living in Croatia, the pogromist croissant of Europe. Politically, I consider myself a Bolshevik-Leninist ("Trotskyist"), though I oppose Third Campism, Shachtmanism and theories about state capitalism in the Soviet Union, and have some sympathy for the early stages of the Cultural Revolution in the cities. I have recently taken an interest in the WWP and Sam Marcy, and the so-called "Worker Communists" in Iran and Iraq (though their positions on abortion etc. are atrocious).
I am interested in politics, obviously, in Marxist theory, particularly concerning the organisation of the public power in lower stages of communist society, in the application of dialectical materialism to the natural sciences, in historical-materialist social theory, and similar matters.
Well, I think I've said enough to antagonise every major tendency and provide ample evidence of my horrible political confusion and deviations. Let the pelting with rotten fruit begin. ;)1

"worker communism" or Hekmatism, is an anti revolutionary ideology. it replaces workers (as a class) with humans. their slogan: "basis of socialism is human" completely puts aside class differences. they are also opposed to dictatorship of proletariat.
historically, Hekmatists have ruined the organization and armed wing of Communist party of Iran. although they had majority in the Communist party, they broke away and made a new "worker communist" party (which is now divided into numerous sects and individuals), because minority of their own party was worthless from their point of view!
i hope you correct your views.

This is more or less the impression I have formed in the time since that post. I was interested in some of their press releases (but only interested - I did not mean to endorse them in my previous post), but their theory is confused, they have an odd bourgeois faith in an independent judiciary, and they support the, don't laugh now, "Syrian revolution".
They seem to be a bourgeois liberal group trying to present themselves as socialists. They still seem to do some good work, but a workers' party they are not.
Likewise, my original post was not supposed to be an endorsement of Marcy and the WWP.

Holy ultrasectarianism, Batman, that might be the most ridiculous thing I have heard about all week. Thank you for the information; the sources I had found were rather vague about that period.
i hope you correct your views.
It's why I'm here.
