So this is my first time joining a site such as Revleft. I'm 17 years old, still in high school and I've been extremely interested in politics for quite some time now.

With regards to personal beliefs I value things like human solidarity, empathy, truth, and justice but do not hold a belief in God. Politically speaking I'm pretty much a libertarian socialist and have been influenced very much by Noam Chomsky.

I look forward to engaging in conversation and debate on this site given that most of my friends are right-wing republican conservatives (unfortunately)

There is only a young republicans club which some of my friends belong to. Unfortunately, I go to a Catholic school so people tend to be pretty right-wing.
