Who are comrades

who are our comrades? I'm talking about individually

1) Are only people who feel the same (or similarly) about everything that we do. For example Council Communists would be my comrades but Anarchists and Stalinists aren't?

2) Are all people who share a common goal with me comrades? For example are All Socialists, Communists and Anarchists comrades?

3) Or is everyone a comrade? like is a Capitalist a comrade of mine?

2) all people who share a common goal with me are my comrades. That is, all anti-capitalists, and all people who fight for the common interest of the people.

well for me it depends on a number of things and all them are political in nature. Now if i call you comrade i mean it in a good way. In the sense you are like me and i like you, in the sense that we share goals and ideals and so on. So your right i dont call anyone a comrade, but thats just me and thats just beacause of what i mean when i use the word.

Well, if I am not mistaken, comrade was first coined by soicialist. It was mainly saying that intead of captain and sargent, and other ranks, it showed the equality of all of the people fighting for a similar cause. Your comrade and mine may or may not be different. I would concider my comrades pretty much on the extreme left wing, ig. socialist, communist, and anarchist.

i consider a comrade anyone who is similar to me in any way, or who i get on with. IRL, that includes most people who actually get to know me, but not those people that throw food at me, spit at me, or try and set me or my hair or my clothes on fire....
however, i am willing to let verbal abuse slide by...

in the much less personal world of the net, the people i dont get on with are those who i have no way of getting to actually know beyond their theoretical ideas, so i don't get on with celticsocialist, but im sure if we went out drinking we would get on fine...
that is, unless he's a thrower/spitter/pyromaniac...

Any one who belives in the socialist ideals and see that the world we live in now needs change is my comrade but not those who want to use the morale face of socialism to achive their own slefish goals like stalanists or the ALP(for socialists in Oz u know wad i mean).

When it comes to my friends i only call the ones who belive in socialist ideals comrade or see that the current structure of society is wrong

I reckon there is a difference between comrades and friends, i have many friends who are not socialist in the slightest, but theya re still my friend.
Comrades are people who are friends and are socialists.
comrades and friends are parrallel, but i wouldnt be freinds with some1 coz they are commies.
