Hello, I recently found this site through memory and a internet search. My Mother, twindragon, or Heather, was originally registered on this site; although she unfortunately passed away in February of 2012, times are rough, but you learn to move on.
As you can probably tell from my post thus far, I'm a horrible writer, although I love a good read! Some of my favorite books are those put forth by Ernest Hemingway, especially his masterpiece, A Farewell To Arms. I'm currently reading Candide by Voltaire, which is a fantastic read as well.
I'm a Junior in Highschool, and I'm what you would consider a semi experienced computer programmer, I mainly specialize in C#, although I plan on becoming fluent in C++ in the coming months; I also plan on extending this knowledge and perhaps receive a degree in computer science somewhere in the near future.
My religious views are that of an atheist, and my political views are centered mainly around Democratic Socialist ideologies, although this isn't set in stone, as a good person is one with an open mind.
I'm always open to new ideas, and drastic change. We're all human beings, and we're certainly not perfect, as Emerson puts it, "Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day.", I hope to have a fantastic stay on this forum, and look forward to any future friends or acquaintances I may encounter.
Regards,
John AKA General Pony
