I learned today that 8 assassination attempts were put on Castro during the Cuban middle crisis, but also JFK sponsored this but JFK was assassinated so easily. What stopped the u.s from castro?

There have been over 500 assassination attempts on Castro.

Yeah, the CIA was super creative with that shit, too. Like trying to get Castro with an exploding cigar and stuff like that.

638 attempted/plotted assassinations on Fidel. Fidel is invincible it's the only explanation.

No fucking kidding, I'm not an M-L and never have been, but I've always had a soft spot for the Cuban revolution and Che, despite their politics not being anything like mine. Fidel is a beast, he's stood up to U.S. imperialism for over half a century, while giving them the middle finger and repelling an actual invasion, plus 638 assassination attempts. The dude is still going strong too, seems to be in amazing shape for his age.

Castro is a good example of what a 'socialist' state can accomplish. If only it industrialised more and wasn't isolated through the embargo.

They plotted to kill Patrice Lumumba with poisoned toothpaste but the regional CIA operative thought assassination was going too far and the Congo could still be made to fall in line with Washington. I think about all those crappy Hollywood films where foreign-accented villains plot to destroy America in random ways and then realise that the CIA pretty much are those cheesy villains wrapped into one organisation.

This just proves that all the US, I assume most of the attempts where organized one way or another by them, is really incompetent.

I did find that mildly amusing, though. That JFK organized multiple assassination plots on Fidel Castro, all fail, and he turns around and gets his dome rocked.
Tragic irony or poetic justice? A matter of perspective I guess!

Through wikipedia and using the mystical power of division:
approx. 1.4 assassination attempts per year against Hitler
approx 12.2 assassination attempts per year against Castro
