This is the Romanian government's apparently "tongue-in-cheek" rebuttal to the use of southern Balkan states as a boogieman in political circles:

This slogan in particular is really troubling
"Half of our women look like Kate. The other half, like her sister."
Not only does it purport to denigrate British women on the basis of how they look, but it suggests that the primary benefit of Romanian women are their appeal to men.
I suppose one should never have expected better from a capitalist state. Still, I for one would welcome if the attempts to fight xenophobia with sexism should backfire severely.
