On the 26th of January 2013 the Meeting of 10 Communist and Workers’ Parties from 7 countries was held in Thessalonica. Specifically there were parties from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYROM, Greece, Serbia and Turkey. The GS of the CC of the KKE, Aleka Papariga, was present at the Balkan Meeting and made the introductory speech, while the Joint Statement of the Communist and Workers Parties was approved.
