I'm Xavier6757 of Alberta, Canada.

I suppose I subscribe to Marxism-Leninism (Yeah, "elite vanguard party" and everything) , but I am willing to listen to other leftist points of view.

How I became a leftist?
When I was young, still a child, my family went on a trip to Cuba.
Not to the decked up, five star resort complexes that now dot the country, but the "real" Cuba. Seeing everything there at a young age really left a mark on me, and upon returning home, I started reading into Marxism. (To the best of my seven year old self's ability)

To this day, many years later, I still believe in the intrinsic properties of this system.

So what's up, comrades?

Are you a 'Stalinist' Marxist Leninist?

No, unfortunately

Are you a 'Stalinist' Marxist Leninist?

No, but some people do occaisionally loop me in with them.

I like to think a world-wide revolution is possible (and necessary), so I guess I'm leaning that way.
Why do you ask?

Welcome to RevLeft! :D

Thanks.

Maybe because we still believe that we can reform our regulations regarding oil royalties, and that that our taxes won't be spent on privately owned entertainment facilities.
But then again, who knows?
Today, Premier Redford was talking about a possible reduction in public healthcare spending.
