Hello,
First of all my username is a joke. I wanted to make fun of myself in some way. And so I created monkeyboy.
I've been viewing this forum when I was younger. When I was young I described myself as anarchist. That may have been my way to rebel.
Nowadays I'm less "extreme". However, I'm still a skeptic of the way our society works. Capitalism, governments, our version of democracy, education, consumerism.
I wonder if communism and anarchism are the answer to the troubles of our modern society. Hence I decided to join this forum.
I'm interested in psychology, especially evolutionary psychology, I think these sciences can help us build the society that works best for us humans, so I would like to join the discussion with science in mind.
What I want to do:
1. talk about and describe the problems of our modern society
2. ask to you guys how communism and or anarchism would solve these problems
3. look behind the psychology of these problems, and what could be the source of the problems; evolutionary psychology comes to mind
I'm going to start with asking questions and then see what I'm going to do. Who knows; I might fanish quickly or become a respected member - I'm not sure yet, I'll see.
