Overture

I've followed this forum for sometime and recently decided to weigh in on some of these discussions. Frankly, I'm not impressed with a lot of what is talked about here or most of the opinions voiced on this forum.
That said, I somewhat , loosely, followed Platypus Affiliated Society a few years ago. I was not so much in contact with membership nor was I involved with their website but I was intrigued by them ideologically. I found them interesting for a period until I found out that they were closet Zionist-supporters. Initially, I was drawn to their slogans of "The left is dead!, long live the Left!" and such, which -- in this day and age -- I find to be completely true.
The so-called "Left" really is a shell of it's former self (if it was ever anything to begin with) in that what seems to be common are single [sexuality, labor, reproduction, etc] issue and an ongoing movementarianism that acts like a space for genuine political action but is nothing remotely close to the sort. I find that many of the deluded types that would like to argue that this isn't the case, also are members of this forum. This is all coming from a gay male, btw, and no, I have no interest in your "queer" identity groups.
Since my disillusionment of groups like Platypus who try to re-synthesize Marxism or whatever, I've come to find that Marxism is in fact a dead-end in and of itself. I could elaborate more on that but I will choose not to at this time.
I hope to find (although I'm not holding my breath) conscious, socialist-minded individuals who are bored of the cult-like religious dogmatism of the so-called "Left" and the tired, antiquated arguments of the past. I'm not here to make friends or to achieve some illusion of popularity. Being ideologically revolutionary is not a sub-culture to me nor is it a place for acceptance.
That is all.

Do not mention anything Stalin/Trotsky related! It will turn into a flame war.
