Has any Marxist ever did a study or essay on Realism and Marxism on how they relate or not relate?

You'll find that marxism generally rejects realism as an international system, as well as liberalism, of course. Marxism tends to lean towards constructivist and world systems(international political economy) theory in regards to international relations theory.

Realism makes entirely different base assumptions about human nature and political power and hence builds an entirely different political theory - they do not relate at all really.
