Travis are my favorite band in the world. DOes anybody here like them too? I think they really make great music with their tasteful lyrics, awesome melody and Fran's rather Lennonesque voice...he has the saddest voice when he sings...

They are an ok band I guess. You really gotta be into that to really love them but I would not turn off one of their songs nor would I buy their music.

I loved the man who album and a few songs from the invisible band album

I like them alot, I like Indie music and rock music so Travis fit the bill nicely

Ive heard plenty of them and well i dont like them, the songs sound to similar and they dont strike me as doing anything original in any sense.

That is what i meant by unoriginal, there are plenty of bands that have copied radioheads style, travis, coldplay, starsailor etc. and they&#39;re all crap compared to the original.

Coldplay are by far the worst of the radiohead wannabies but travis are pretty bad, their songs are all the same and there&#39;s nothing particularly special about them.

i would also put the stereophonics in the category of radiohead wannabies, they are all so terrible, they imitate radiohead&#39;s style but they ignore the meaning behind the songs and end up with meaningless monotomous crap.
