Hi there, I have very strong left beliefs and believe that the people have been pushed too far. Morally I cannot stand back and watch anymore; I have to become active. This is something I have been contemplating for many years. I am primarily here to meet new people and develop my thinking. I may not be online as much as I would like to be but I have a lot of other commitments (some personal and some for the cause). Thank you for providing a place where like minded individuals can gather. I use a VPN and Tor with a modified browser to remain anonymous. I was wondering if this would affect my usage of this site? All the best comrades!

What would you say your ideology is?

Anti-globalisation, anti extreme capitalism, against profiting from needs such as food and water, against class/race/gender division, people over profit, against exploitation of education/research, against corporations that are multinational and hence more powerful than governments... I don't like to box myself in too much but I would probably say a mix of socialism/communism derived from Marxist texts with my personal interpretation. The needs of many outweigh the wants of the few. I am having problems with Tor, I assume the site doesn't like IP changing? As I keep having to log back in. It is concerning that this site logs or associates an IP address to a user. Though it has its benefits like banning certain IPs. How are people for security here? Is GPG/PGP used? What sorts of email do people operate from? I can contribute quite a lot to internet security if needed.

I don't know much about the technical side of the site.
You should look in the technical support section of the forum.

Thank you volkov, I have just added to one of the security threads regarding such matters. This place is probably one of the best learning resources I have came across (apart from my collection of informational PDFs etc). I will have to introduce my fellow comrades! Though few in number make up for it in heart!

Welcome mate. We have quite a few comrades from the UK here, and actually, I lived in London myself. I'm not sure if all the security precautions you are taking are really necessary. Also, regarding that logging in issue, maybe if you checked the "remember me" box, it wouldn't log you out all the time?

Welcome comrade! There are plenty of people here who know a lot about internet security, be sure to look in the Mutual Aid & DIY subforum.

Yes I have looked and added to the appropriate thread and will continue to do so, I've been operating on the deepnet and being OTR for about 5-6 years at least with many aliases. I hope to meet with many of you in the future, apologies on my brevity as busy as at the moment!

The time is now, the age of dissent is upon us! It is our moral duty to fight for our cause!

Chat more soon!

Forgot to mention but the 'remember me' does not work for my settings. I just enabled JAVA though I may turn it off as the can provide info leaks. I may make a separate browser config for this site, if you request I can help you set up removable storage media with auto encryption etc (basically I can try and tailor to your requirements/specifications). If you stay nearby then I can do it in person though as I am knew it would be wise to avoid meeting me until you have confirmed my loyalties, ust my opinion and how I would play it!

And also thanks for the warm welcome! I feel at home already!
