Os Cangaceiros

I had never heard of this before, but I clicked on the link to this article (http://anarchistnews.org/content/anarchy-comics-complete-collection) in anarchistnews.org, and I thought the illustrations were humorous, especially the one where Archie and Jughead are anarchists, and the Red Brigades burst into a congregation of the wealthy.

The Mao "portrait" and it's sarcastic inscription are pretty funny too, esp. for people who are familiar with left-wing rhetoric...

I have some Dutch anarchist comics from, I think, 68 and ealry 70s.
If anyone is interested, I could give it a scan.
It's called Real Free Press Illustratie.
Maybe someone who knows a bit more about Dutch anarchist can tell a bit about it, and wether or not is online already. I could of course ask my dad who bought the comics back in the day, but that would involve doing stuff.
It also has some nudity/porn so I don't know if that's allowed here.

I ordered a copy from PM Press right after I heard the Boing Boing podcast of an interview with Jay Kinney. (Newbie here so I can't link.) I am now impatiently waiting for it to be delivered.
I would say whatever your "tradition" it's worth checking out.

Many of the Anarchy Comics contributors were great. I just saw the other day on the Comics Journal this was out.
And sadly, Spain Rodriguez, one of the great radical of American underground comix died this past fall. Here's the NYT obit: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/03/arts/spain-rodriguez-creator-of-underground-comics-dies-at-72.html?_r=0
Quite a number of its contributors were politically committed -- but you gotta be a funny smart ass to make good cartoons.

Oh man, that anarchist Tintin is too much. It's weird and funny seeing that message in Herge's pretty and anodyne medium.
Some radical-left comics folks may know are Stephanie McMillan's Minimum Security and Free Will: The Orphan Temp. I'm a newb here too so I'll let ya google those, they are fun to read.
