My name is Gena, I'm 17 years old.
I live in New England and I have my whole life.
I'm finding out about Communism and socialism little by little through research of Latin America, particularly Cuba, (right now I'm reading about the revolution, but I plan on reading more if anybody has any suggestions) that I'm doing out of curiosity.
My interest in Cuba came from a passionate interest in Che Guevara which started about a month ago.
I came here to learn more about Communism and socialism, past revolutions, current politics, etc. mostly every category this site covers.
Over all, I want to find where I fit in politically and meet people who will accompany me on that journey.

so what's up everybody:cubaflag:

Howdy - welcome to the forum. Most folks here will recommend Marx as a starting point but if it's Latin America that interests you, there's plenty of good leftists to come from that region of the globe. Che is a fine place to start.

I have some family in Maine; hope your staying warm!

Welcome! Sounds a lot like how I started getting into politics, vaguely. My interest stemmed from a curiosity about Latin American history as well.

I also really dig the user name.
