Aside from the ridiculous dino-soldiers plot that was scrapped what will the plot be? Back to the islands again? I liked the first movie despite it being way too short.

I just hope Hack Horner won't be their science advisor again. He's so fucking annoying. Look what his silliness did in the third one, fuck's sake. Even Bakker is better.

Don't be a Horner hater

When he stops being a prick all the time and always trying to favour his own random ideas he gets now and then in peculiar ways that are quite unbeneficial to the story lines, I'll consider it.

Clearly we're gonna find out Samuel L Jackson didn't really die in the first film and he's been kicking dino ass ever since.

The raptors have formed a fascistic regime and enslaved the other, less-evolved, dinos. Humans swoop in to defeat the growing Raptorist threat and liberate the enslaved dinos, with maybe a few ironic killings of main characters by the liberated beasts to make them question why they bothered.

Edit - Seriously tho, don't hold out much hope for this one. The sequels were shocking, imo, and 4th installments rarely work out (See Terminater: Salvation, Alien: Resurrection, Jaws 4 etc)

I really don't think It'll be all that good considering how they aren't running the movies off the books anymore.

It's almost a guarantee that the trailer will have that bloody inception foghorn.

That plot could've been awesome for all we know (which isn't much - the only thing we know is a review from Ain't It Cool News which praised it).

Genetic manipulation, hybridisation of humans & animals, and the dangers of corporate involvement therein was a subject Michael Crichton (Creator of Jurassic Park) liked to focus on and he even wrote a whole book about it (Next, a really good book too). It's not outside the realm of Crichton's works at all and would fit well with Jurassic Park thematically, I think, so long as it was a serious treatment and not Michael Bay'd.

There have been part 4s that may not be great but at least entertaining, like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Rambo, Rocky, Thunderball, Red Dragon, Godzilla vs Mothra, etc.

So it could still be fun.

So it could still be fun.Speaking of 4s, maybe in this movie Captain Kirk and Spock will encounter an entity which will accidentally destroy the earth unless the crew of the Enterprise can bring dinosaurs back to the present!

Yeah Rocky IV is a blast. Dolph Lundgren is awesome in that movie. Living In America is a good song.

I would have put up a youtube vid with the JP1 scene with the fat kid calling a raptor a big turkey but im too lazy to look it up.

If the trailer doesn't have the original Jurassic Park theme I'm definitely not seeing the film.

From what I've heard it's going to have the original people doing the soundtrack so if it's not the original theme (which will probably make an appearance at some point in the film) it will quite possibly be something tolerable and appropriate.

I for one welcome the continuation of the dino-revolution and its expansion into film. The first two movies weren't bad. The very first movie was awesome.

going to be filmed for 3d theaters

plot solidified as taking place several years after Jurassic Park the original and it is now a functioning park with tame dinosaurs doing tame things but then something goes terribly wrong

aquatic dinosaurs

other new dinosaurs one of which is highly intelligent and full of mayhem and rage

I hope they slap an R rating on this movie and make it disturbingly graphic and terrifying
