Hey so I am new to revleft but have been a self described socialist/communist since high school. I am a member of the CPUSA but I don't tend to agree with them on a lot of issues, especially supporting Obama. My ideology is mixed from a lot of places, I agree with the permanent revolution (Trotsky), the vanguard party (Lenin), the aggravation of class warfare (Stalin), and the people's war (Mao), but without a doubt my hero is Che Guevara. I have read his writings on guerrilla warfare, his diaries from Bolivia, the Congo, the motorcycle diaries, and a couple of biographies.

If there are any of you guys in or around Kansas City then message me so we can chat, I have been dying to find someone that has even remotely the same views as me

If you don't agree with the CPUSA, why remain a member?

Also, would you view them as liberal, or revolutionary?

Regardless, G'day mate! Welcome to Revleft!

I mainly stay a member because they are the only leftist party that has even a remote presence in the midwest, they have a missouri/kansas group. The only problem is that most of this group is in St. Louis, but I've been hoping some people closer to me will join.

I tend to view them more as liberal, but there are some in the group, mainly the younger members around my age, that tend to be more revolutionary.
