i was watching a documentary recently and it occurred to me that the plutocratic class is imposing on the masses a kind of food chain.
although we are all of one species, the rich force the masses into the role of producers, like that of phototrophs (i.e. plants) while the rich are the consumers (i.e. herbivores, then carnivores above them, etc)
the only value brought into the ecosystem come from producers, the phototrophs, same as it is with the working class and our economy.
however we have not "evolved" into a food chain among humans, we have this "food chain" imposed onto us by a plutocratic class.
