View Full Version : P&G Arts Forum Guidelines - Please Read!

I've recently been appointed as the new local moderator of Plastic & Graphics Arts, and I've made some changes I'd like to clarify here. I'll also list the basic guidelines I wish to see respected in this forum, besides general board rules.

General forum usage

As said, the general Revleft board rules of course apply here; I will not tolerate discriminatory language, flaming, or spamming (incl. oneline posts). This is the Graphics forum, so I will allow picture posts without text, but please try to avoid such to encourage discussion.

If you see someone violating the rules, please contact me. In general, do not hesitate to send me a private message (PM) if you are uncertain about anything related to this forum, or would like something to be done here in terms of moderating - for example moving/trashing/closing/stickying threads/posts, or anything really.

Use the Forum Index

Most of the former stickies in this forum were really old, with uploaded images no longer working etc. Those have now been unstickied, but they are not deleted - I've added them to the Index thread (http://www.revleft.com/vb/plastic-graphic-arts-t58076/index.html).

Please don't resurrect those of the old stickies that are no longer active. You are free to start a new version of any of them (for example leftist wallpapers etc). If it gets popular I will sticky it.

In the Index you can find lots of interesting and useful topics, for example guides and tutorials to graphics software, free graphics software tips, image resource links, topics on graffiti/stenciling and leftist wallpapers and much more.

If you are looking for info on something, a particular kind of picture etc, check the index! Heaps of good stuff there.

Thread necromancy

Most old topics are closed, but some may have been left open. Do not, however, resurrect old topics which haven't been posted in for ages. As said, such often have lots of no longer working images etc. Better to start a new one!

I guess this is all for now - happy posting! :)

I guess this is all for now - happy posting! :) Just an FYI and I don't want to start a new thread on this. I am now the new moderator for this forum. I have a long history as an artist working with various mediums so I do have some experience behind my posts.

The above rules still apply. I am looking forward to participating in this forum with you. Thanks for the ear!
