Hello everyone,

Basically, I am here to learn. I used to be a typical conservative Republican, but have become increasingly interested in left-wing economics as of late. I find the mainstream discussions of economics to be threadbare, and I no longer find libertarian economics plausible or desirable.

Not sure how far you'll get with 'left wing economics' while you're here, Capital after all is 'a contribution to the critique of political economy', and the aim of communists is to destroy 'the economy', but nevertheless, I hope you enjoy (and learn from) your time here.

Former Republican here too. Went from Republican, to libertarian with a liking for Ron Paul for a week, and then communism :lol:.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, actually ask questions so we can get some discussions going.

I don't think it's useful to attack a freshly recovering ex-republican with phrases such as "destruction of the economy" :lol:
