Like the title says, I am here to learn more about more theories and such. I have been considering starting an intentional community, and it led me to thinking of where I land politically. I feel like I am currently in the anarcho-communist camp, but I am not quite positive.
Anyway, I'm just hoping to learn and generate new (or at least new to me) ideas.

welcome to RevLeft.
As an Anarchist-Communist intending to set up an 'intential community' (some kind of co-op/commune?) I expect you'll be given a bit of a hard time, but never mind. Poke around, get involved in some debates, and enjoy, is my advice.

Welcome to the forum, if you are so inclined than consider checking out many of our fine study guides to Leftist texts (which should help you become familiar with other tracts of Leftist theory if you so desire)...

Hey, welcome. Starting with Marx and Engels would be good!

Thank you all! And the clarify, by intentional community I did mean a commune. By given a hard time, do you mean here or from external sources?

From here. Most Anarchists gave up on communes in the 1880s I believe, Kropotkin wrote some articles about them which have been collected and reprinted as a pamphlet called 'Why Small Communal Experiments Fail' or some such.
The basic point is you're not actually opposing capitalism or the state. Co-operatives and communes aren't as much of 'practical socialism' as they might at first appear.
