Hello everyone! I found this great forum while following a link that was posted on Reddit, and I found this great place. So I thought I would introduce myself.

I'm 17 years old. I live in Hawaii, and I am looking to solidify my recent conversion to Marxism-Leninism. I am an anti-theist, with an intellectual and moral opposition to organized religion, and currently in High School. I will be attending college next year hoping to major in political science! :D

As far back as I can remember, back in the elementary school days, I remember looking at kids who had more than others who would rub it in their face and use it as some prestigious symbol on the playground. I would think "things don't have to be this way." I saw my first homeless person when I was 7, and instantly thought "it wasn't his fault."

Now, the inherent oppression and slavery built into the capitalist system is apparent, and the way it influences others' minds is sickening in my view.

I am really interested in politics, more than your usual high school student. While my friends are off talking about the next girl to have sex with or who to get drunk with next, I am here, thinking about how to change the world and make it a better place, for everyone.

I can't wait to get to know everyone here!

With respect,
AtarashiiSekai

Lots to ideas to be exchanged around here, c'mon over to the learning section and feel free to start asking away.

Also, as a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, I'd be failing my comrades it I didn't do a wee bit of shameless self promotion for my tendency :P

Thank you comrades for a great welcome! X) Yeah, I wouldn't say I am a Marxist-Leninist just yet, I believe in mass action, but not armed revolution.
