What do you think of Oliver Stone's documentary about US foreign policy and/or the companion book? I've only watched bits and pieces of the documentary and was considering purchasing the companion.

I was pretty impressed by his documentaries on Castro and Chavez, so I'd be very interested in watching this.
Does anyone know where I can find it online?

Episode 1 is on youtube.
I thought it was a bit too liberalistic, I believe it said that if another bloke was elected in the US it would've all gone differently. I'm usually less certain on people who think that history could've gone radically different by one person.

Oliver Stone is definitely a liberal, I remember in the Chavez documentary he said he believed in a "benign, fair capitalism" or something like that, but that doesn't mean the historical facts in his documentary aren't valuable.

No but it is good to know his biases which you see back in the documentary and make the conclusions questionable (get it? ).

If you want to understand the gist of the whole series, just watch the interviews on the Real News Network with Peter Kuznick, the historian who worked with Stone. It's the typical Rosevelt lovefest, with progressive Wallace as the "what could've been" if he had been vice president instead of Truman.
I recommend watching the Real News interview, because Paul Jay understands that the system won't allow a progressive like Wallace to make any radical difference in domestic and foreign policy had he been President instead of Truman. Even Kuznick admits that Wallace was not a fighter and easily backs down, yet he still naively believes that Wallace would've changed the course of history (no atomic bombing, no cold war etc..), talk about liberal delusions!
