This really pissed me off
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/01/03/coulter_why_cant_we_get_a_list_of_women_who_have_a bortions.html
Why can't we get a record of women who have had abortions? They get money from Planned Parenthood, they get money from Medicare, from Medicaid. They're tax subsidies. I think, you know, mothers might want to know what other women on their street might be willing to murder a child.

Ann Coulter is a real life troll, nothing she says should ever even be read, let alone make you mad, all she lives for is to try and piss non-conservatives off.

This one never ceases to amaze.
People on Medicare getting abortions? Does she even take herself seriously?

The funny part is that millions of people in America don't think she's a clown. :(

I think you give her too much credit, she's not really that popular is she?

^Depends where in the US you are. In the city, no. In a right-wing predominantly white small christian town, yes.

Anyone ever notice how she always makes these ridiculous statements to coincide with book releases(and whatever else she does)?
It's all a big game to boost sales.

But even then is she really taken seriously? I think she's more well known and more liked in conservative circles because she just says inflammatory stuff they think is funny.

Well, many of her books end up being best sellers and she has pretty lucrative media gigs. That popularity won't translate into political office or clout, but she has a lot of wingnuts who adore her for seemingly calling out liberals on their "hypocrisy" and "political correctness". This of course translates into inane bullshit and fallacies but she's merely a reflection of the people she represents.
There's often been a question of how much she actually believes she says, and how much she does it because it's lucrative business (because, frankly, would anyone care about her otherwise?). This was parodied once on The Boondocks I remember.
This particular episode was prompted by a newspaper in New York publishing the names and addresses of registered gun owners in Westchester and Rockland Counties, mostly affluent suburban areas north of NYC. This has become very contentious of course, so a lot of the right wingers are freaking out about it and trying to demand that it'd only be fair for the libruhls to disclose who had abortions.

Yes, even then she is taken very seriously. First hand experience to back me up on this bud ;)

Abortion is a medical procedure; people should have doctor-patient confidentiality, of course. She appears to have decided that having an abortion is the same thing as committing a crime and that people deserve to know if their neighbour has done either of these things. But really, what? There are a lot of things wrong with that. If someone commits a crime, it shouldn't be broadcast to their neighbours when they get out of jail because that's fucked up, so even if abortion was the same as murder, what she's saying is really fucked up.

Ann Coulter has shown she is ignorant of mostly everything and has shown no effort in actually trying to understand the world she lives in. There is no point in trying to debunk her because the crazy bat shit insane stuff she spouts is so massive it would require too much effort and I doubt the proletariat takes her seriously anyway.

No one takes her seriously, and she is considered a clown figure even by the Right - she gets wheeled out to provide some light entertainment to activists after the GOP loses yet another election

I demand that Ann Coulter immediately release all of her medical records and immediately submit to a comprehensive, detailed and video-taped vaginal examination.
People should know if someone who is anti-abortion has possibly had an abortion. This should maintain the integrity and good taste of the pro-lifers' argument.

Medical records are legally confidential. Coulter is just trolling again.

She's an idiot, a troll, and obviously an attention whore. Don't worry...most of her audience are right-wing men who will never take any woman seriously, especially one who constantly argues against women's rights. They may be reactionary, greedy assholes, but they know hypocrites when they see them. Takes one to know one.

My dad owns like three of her books, though I don't know if he's has ever actually read them. I actually shook her hand once when I was a kid before I knew/cared about politics, it's weird to think about.
He took me to some kind of conservapalooza, for lack of a better word, at a Six Flags in New Jersey and she was doing a book signing there. We waited in line and when we got up she signed his book and shook both of our hands with that big horse faced grin of hers. Little did I know....
