My answer will vary from time to time. I like Petey's answer, Dead Kennedys were a great band ( don't be fooled by the group going around calling themselves the Dead Kennedys), you can't have the DKs without your Jello. But I'm going to have to go with the Clash right now. X is right up there too, as are the Pogues.

Great prank! Jello would surely approve.

I would consider going to a show just to do something like that. I'd have to get in free somehow though.

Their music is awesome. They give a lot to charity, and strive to keep the prices for concerts, cds, and dvds very low for their fans. They are amazing live, and always give a great show. They are also very political, and stand up for what they believe in (pro-choice, anti-war)

Plus, their music is awesome.

Dr. Rosenpenis
1st January 2004, 07:36
I didn't know that about their political activism. :)
I still don't find their music so awesome.
Good, perhaps.
Not my bag, though.

How about The Rolling stones, The Band, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention (I can't believe no one has mentioned him! but i guess no one here probably has ever heard him since he was banned from Radio.) The Who; Sonny Terry, Brownie McGee; Taj Mahal; Dr John; Moby; 10 Years After; Joe Cocker (loved him in woodstock); John Lee Hooker; Stevie Ray Vaughn; Soggy Bottom Boys!!! (if you don't get it, watch "O Brother Where Art Thou?") that about covers it for now...

Great band, i've got all their albums, and I used to think they were my favourate band, but i've kind of gone off them a bit.

I wish I could see them live in March at the Brixton Carling Academy but its the day before an exam...
